Topics covered include:

• General health and safety and setting up your work area
• Setting out the job
• Correct use of hand tools
• Spreading and laying bricks
• Building a simple corner in half-brick walling
• How to finish the joints

Stout footwear is required (no open-toe sandals or high heels permitted). Overalls or old clothes are also recommended.

You will study alongside like-minded people in classes delivered by friendly supportive tutors.
